Eric Gilman – Replacing light-sticks with LED lights on tuna and swordfish boats – $1,500

Eric Gilman working with the Fisheries Research Group is researching best practices for replacing single use light-sticks with LED lights with the best color spectrum and flash rate.  The goal is to save up to 11 million single use plastic light-sticks.
